Chloe Briggs (b. 1989, Born in Fridley, Minnesota) is primarily an oil painter. Her work places figures and fragmented portraits on vast canvases, often removed from any context of place. Briggs explores the in-between; the area between space and perception, place and memory. Through her practice she seeks to examine the relationship between personal notions of identity and wider cultural expectation. Briggs received her BFA from the College of Saint Benedict and St. John's University in 2011 and her MFA with Distinction in 2017 from the University of Dundee DJCAD in Dundee, Scotland.

Her work has been shown both in the US and internationally and is included in collections in Scotland.
